Ft. Worth Stock Yards + Family

Dad and sister came in town for the weekend.  With Dad in Magnolia, AR and Sister in Austin, TX it's hard to get everyone together.  We always end up having a ton of fun when we are together, and to make this weekend even more special we were celebrating my birthday a little early.  We decided to enjoy the weather and make our way down to the Historic Ft. Worth Stockyards.

Waiting for the cattle drive to begin.  Every day at 11:30am and 4pm there is a traditional Texas longhorn cattle drive down the cobblestone streets that everyone enjoys!

This was all Sister's idea.  Right after the cattle drive there is a shoot-out western drama that takes place down by the train station. These are some of the friendly cowboys in the show.  Sister was way to excited about getting her picture taken.

After our visit in Ft. Worth we celebrated my birthday dinner on the other side of town in Bishop Arts at Boulevardier.   Sister tried oysters for the first time, and the food was excellent!

We wrapped up the weekend on the patio and enjoyed the weather! Always love having my family in.
